Lake Chelan (/ ʃ ə ˈ l æ n / shə-LAN) is a narrow, mile ( km) long lake in Chelan County, north-central Washington state, U.S. Before , it was the largest natural lake in the state by any measure. Upon the completion of Lake Chelan Dam in , the elevation of the lake was increased by 21 feet ( m) to its present maximum-capacity elevation of 1, feet ( m).Location: Chelan County, Washington, United States.
